Common questions
Can you install it in my vehicle?
We review each vehicle individually. The year, make, model, modifications and suitable wiring documentation determine what we can offer. We cannot accommodate every vehicle. We do not perform EV high voltage work.
What is included in the starting price?
The package starts at $699 and includes Trackhawk hardware, concealed installation, kill switch integration, app setup, functional testing and a walkthrough. Vehicle requirements can affect the final price. The tracking subscription is separate.
Which app and subscription will I use?
We currently install Trackhawk VL03 systems, which use Trackhawk’s app, web dashboard and subscription. We confirm the current recurring cost with your quote. Nero Vault is not included, and Nero tracking plans do not apply to this installation.
How is remote immobilization used?
Remote immobilization is for a confirmed stolen vehicle that is stationary, safely stopped and has its engine off. Never activate it while the vehicle is moving or the engine is running. We explain the installed circuit’s operation and limitations at handover. No security system guarantees theft prevention or recovery.
How long will the installation take?
Most installations are completed within one business day. Some vehicles require more time. We confirm the expected drop off and collection arrangements before your appointment.
Can I visit without an appointment?
No. Vehicle drop off is by confirmed appointment in Dearborn Heights. We provide the arrival details after compatibility, the quote and scheduling are agreed. We do not accept walk ins or offer mobile installation.
What does the warranty cover?
We provide a six month warranty on installation workmanship. Trackhawk’s hardware and subscription are subject to the manufacturer’s own terms.
